College Annual Day Celebrations – 9th April, 2011.

Dr. P Rajeshwar Reddy, Chairman Anurag Group of Institutions delivered the welcome address.

Prof. M Mutha Reddy, Principal, Anurag Group of Institutions presented the CVSR College of Engineering and Lalitha Degree & PG College reports.

Dr. Prakash V Diwan, Director, Lalitha College of Pharmacy,presented the college report.

The Chief Guest Prof. G Tulsi Ram Das, Registrar, JNTUH said that there are plenty of job opportunities and students should focus on soft skills, communication skills & possess competency and the basic knowledge of their domain to get the jobs. He also said that students need to inculcate positive thought process and creativity for a successful career. He spoke about confidence, competence and commitment for success in life.

Special Guest Dr. K Vijay Raghavan, Former Director IICT, Member Technology Development Board , New Delhi spoke about global economy and the role of engineering and scientific community to transform the world. While addressing the gathering, he said that all technical colleges should have linkages with industries so

that students gain knowledge and bring out their creativity. He also said that colleges should encourage innovation and creativity. He also threw light on Indian education in engineering and research and emphasized on the need for good training programs for faculty.

Guest of honour Sri Chandrabose, Cine Lyric Writer shared his experiences and sang some inspirational and enthralling Telugu songs, which he wrote.

Prof. Y Jagadeeshwar Rao, Professor in Humanities was felicitated by Dr. P. Rajeshwar Reddy, Chairman for rendering his dedicated services to the Institution.

Chief Guest Prof. G Tulsi Ram Das has distributed academic toppers prizes.

1. Mr. M Hari Krishna got All India GATE topper of CSE in 2009.
2. Mr. Hareesh Sharma got JNTUH 5th Ranker for the Academic year 2010-11

3. Mr. K Yeshwender, got All India 68th Rank GPAT 2010
4. Mr. Raja Rao got IES 6th Ranker 2006-10 batch of ECE Dept.

Literary Activities prizes were distributed by Prof. M Bhagvanth Rao, Director and Prof. K.Rama Reddy Senior Director.

Cultural Activities prizes were distributed by Mr. Chandrabose Cine Lyric Writer.

Sports Prizes were distributed by Prof. M Mutha Reddy, Principal, Prof. Prakash V Diwan Director Lalitha College of Pharmacy, Dr. K S Rao Director, Anurag Group of Institutions, Prof. N Gopal Reddy, Principal Lalitha Degree & PG College. Mrs. S. Neelima, Secretary & Correspondent, Dr. P. Rajeshwar Reddy Chairman.

Students enjoyed the cultural performed by their friends. Students joined their hands and voice to the songs of the singers. Students joined their steps to the latest famous & familiar cine songs.

EEE final year students creative dance direction was extraordinary. Classical, Western, Punjabi and folk dances were unique and mind blowing performance.
