“The Hindu”, is a newspaper, which is regularly scheduled publication containing news, information and advertisements.

It is an Indian English-language daily newspaper published since 1878 with a circulation of 1.48 million. “The Hindu” is the second largest circulated daily newspaper in India. It has its largest base of circulation in south India, especially Tamil Nadu, Head quartered at Chennai. Initially it was published weekly, when it was launched in 1878 and eventually published daily from 1899 onwards.

“The Hindu” ,is the first Indian newspaper to offer an online edition from 1995.It is circulated in Banglore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi Hubli, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Madurai, Banglore, Thiruvananthapur, Tiruchirapalli, Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam.

The Hindu press is located at the other end of Delhi in Wazirpur.It was a wonderful experience for the students as their inquisitiveness for the session of questions and answer showed that they are very curious to know things.

Thus, the visit was very explorative and educative as it gave an understandable view on their various operations and departments.
