The entrepreneurship development cell of AGI, Aavishkaran has organized an Alumni Entrepreneurs Meet of AGI on 7/9/2017. This was organized in order to connect the alumni entrepreneurs and the present students aspiring to be entrepreneurs. The alumni from different departments who have started their own startups and the present students who already ventured in to starts up participated in the event. Director, AGI Dr K S Rao congratulated the alumni on venturing on their own and wished them all the success. He said that is the need of the day to the country and assured that the institution offers every support needed for the students aspiring to be entrepreneurs. Prof M Mutha Reddy has addressed the gathering and encouraged all the students to be able to face the challenges and create a path of their own. Dr V Vishnu Vandana, Coordinator of the event spoke that the event would connect the present and passed out batch students and many more activities would be organized in future to promote entrepreneurship culture in the institution. The alumni shared their experiences through individual presentations and said they would be willing to provide interns and other needed support to all the students. A panel discussion of the entrepreneurs was conducted to share more about the challenges faced, how the idea occurred to them and their future plans. The event concluded with a promise to interact on a regular basis and providing necessary support whenever required.
