SWS Scholarship Program

Dear Student,

Welcome to the SWS Scholarship programme. Your interest in the scholarship is highly appreciated, the objective of the programme is to provide financial aid to the deserving students for pursuing the Bachelor/Masters Degree course in any one of the arrears mentioned below,so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education,who are unable to pursue their studies due to poverty,kindly go through the conditions carefully prescribed for scholarship and make sure that you fulfill all the criteria for scholarship before applying for the SWS Scholarship .

Eligibility Conditions

Age:-Not more that 28 years.
Nationality :-Indian
Education Qualification and Qualifying Marks:-Minimum 60% in High School(10th ) & Senior Secondary(12th) or Equivalent examination. If the student is in the higher Semester/Year in the bachelor or master degree,then he/she must secure at least 60% marks in all the previous semester/years exams. Students currently in any semester/year in their bachelor/master degree course are eligible to apply.
Area of Study under the Programme:-Bachelor/Master degree courses in Engineering(all branches), Law, Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry, Food Technology, Medicine (Including Homeopathy Unani and Ayurvedic), Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Lab technician, Veterinary Science Microbiology, Biotechnology, Business Administration/Management, Hospitality, Computer application, Charter Accountant, and Company Secretariat.

Other Conditions

i) Parents/guardians annual income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
ii) The student should not be a part time or full time employee.
iii) The students should not be getting any other scholarship/fellowship from any other agency or organization.
iv) Students studying abroad will not be considered eligible for the SWS Scholarship.

Scholarship Type & Refund Policy

The Scholarship is an interest Free Loan to enable you to study bachelor/master degree course in any one of the mentioned areas. Amount of Scholarship includes the entire course fee including tuition fee, laboratory fee, library and Sports fee, examination fee & cost of books and other study materials. As such after expiry of one year of the completion of your course, you will pay back the scholarship and other funds you received from Student Welfare Society.Bangalore in some easy instalment.
