Report on L&T Metro Visit

To fill the industry academics gap a study visit has been arranged to L& T Metro Rail. Students have visited L&T Metro office at Miyapur and Uppal where they have been attended by Ms Karuna, Marketing Incharge at Miyapur and Mr. Sudheer Kumar Nayathani, L& T Operations Head & Director at Uppal. The Operations Head & Director have briefed the students about the various operations, the hardships& challenges faced by the organization in the construction of a prestigious project. They also mentioned the benefits that metro rail offers to blind, physically challenged people and how it is more time saving and life extending in emergencies when ambulance is delayed in this crowded city.

The students have gained vast exposure to various management concept that they have learned in the class room such as operations and risk management, leadership skills and traits, and very importantly the just in time technique, six sigma and the time management. Later the students have been taken to the L&T gallery where they have witnessed the prestigious and special moments captured by the organization such as the first pillar initiated, the agreement signed by the government officials, the various companies and etc.
